EXCITEMENT!

In just nine days, my second book will be published by Austin Macauley Ltd. Both my first book ‘White Horses and Sunbeams’ and the second ‘Matt and Pandora’ and non-fiction. I love writing about family, memories, beautiful places, people and all things that I would like to share with other people. I live in a beautiful part of the UK, Cornwall and there are so many amazing places to visit, some of the beaten track which are so exciting to find.

‘Matt and Pandora’ is a story about the developing bond between my seven-year-old (at the time) grandson and his first ever pony Pandora. They were both young and in experienced and I so enjoyed helping them to learn together during their time as a partnership. I have been lucky enough to be around horse and ponies for most of my life and I wanted to share this emerging bond between pony and rider whilst offering a few tips to parents or grand parents that may be considering buying a pony for a child. It is so important to offer children challenges, so long as they are set at the stage and pace that the child is ready to accept.
